Samsung today announced the new version of its most popular phablet GALAXY NOTE 4 along with a band new device GALAXY NOTE EDGE. The first notable difference over last generation is the metal frame which gives it more solid look. Rear panel is still plastic with leathery look. Rear now also has heart beat monitor sensor. The second difference is the screen. Note 4 comes with quad HD display (2560X1440 pixel). The device is equipped with 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilization technique. But the real magic comes from the front camera which is 3.7 MP and has the ability to take 120 degree selfie.

Samsung is also claiming that note 4 has unique rapid charging technology. It allows NOTE 4 to charge to 50% in just 30 min. But we are really skeptical about it and tell you how much true this fact is, in our full review.

Note 4 also comes with some improvements in S pen. It now more pressure sensitive so you can utilize this functionality in various task like paining and writing. Touch wiz is also improved but it still feels like touch wiz. It is mostly improved to enhance multi-tasking.

Hardware inside is also bumped a little. It now has a Snapdragon 805 2.7 GHz quad core processor and other variant has 1.9 GHz Octa core Exynos processor.

Other handset which debuted, is GALAXY NOTE EDGE. It has curved screen to quickly access the frequently used app, alert. Other than this no other innovation is present in Galaxy Edge.
