In a launch event at Bejing China, on jan 15th 2015 Xiaomi surprised everyone with the Mi Note & Note Pro. Before the launch event the speculations were made that Mi5 and Redmi Note 2 will be unveiled but MI Note series came as a pleasant shock.

Xiaomi launched the Mi Note as a competitor to Apple’s iPhone 6 plus. It has full Hd display (1920x1080 pixels), 5.7 inch display, 3 GB LPDDR4 Ram, Snapdragon 801 Processor, 13 MP rear Camera, 4MP front camera with high pixel size, and 3000mAh battery. And it also has dual sim with dual standby feature.

The specs of Xiaomi Note sure looks impressive. But that’s not the end of the story, even in look and feel also Xiaomi Note is not behind. This 5.7 inch tall device is covered with Corning gorilla glass 3 which is curved alongside the edges to give the phablet a Solid brick feel and makes it comfortable to hold. Unlike iPhone 6 plus it doesn’t have rear camera coming out of the body and its bit thinner also. Only drawback is that it comes preloaded with slightly older version of android (android Kitkat) but the refreshed MIUI V6 fills that void and gives the handset a refreshed look in software front also.

Note pro even sounds better than Note in specs and launched to compete with Galaxy note 4. It has 2K aka Quad HD display, Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB RAM and andreno 430 GPU and it support single nano sim.

Xiaomi Note will sell at a price of 2299 CNY (Approx. Rs 24000/-) and Note Pro at CNY 3299 (approx. Rs. 32,900).
